Privacy, plainly explained.

What you choose to save.

Without an account, your program list, notes, checklist, budget, and rank-list versions are stored in this browser. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to access that draft. Export it before clearing browser data or changing devices.

With an account, we use your email address for sign-in and store your workspace in RMR’s separate Supabase database. Workspace data is restricted to your account through access controls. Authorized service administration remains possible; private does not mean end-to-end encrypted. Do not put patient information or sensitive third-party records in your notes.

Optional emails.

Deadline reminders require a verified account email and a separate opt-in. We store your selected services, reminder intervals, timezone, consent record, and delivery status. Every reminder includes an unsubscribe option. RMR registration is not consent to salaryDr marketing.

You can separately choose the RMR newsletter, which includes residency guidance and career resources from salaryDr. We record your verified email, the consent wording version, and when you opted in when you subscribe through account Settings. If you use the hosted newsletter signup page, beehiiv collects your email and manages confirmation and subscription records directly; an RMR account is not required. beehiiv manages the newsletter in RMR’s separate publication. Existing subscriptions and unsubscribe choices are preserved. New subscribers must confirm through beehiiv. Newsletter emails have their own unsubscribe controls; these manage your RMR newsletter subscription. Joining RMR’s newsletter does not change any separate salaryDr newsletter subscription.

Optional applicant contributions.

Sharing application events is separate from saving a private workspace or subscribing to emails. Only the program, track, Match year, event type and date you explicitly submit enter the contribution dataset. We associate the report with your account for verification, corrections, abuse prevention and withdrawal. We do not copy private notes, scores, school, signals or your interview calendar into it.

Authorized RMR administrators can review reports. Public activity shows reviewed self-reports in monthly groups of at least ten distinct accounts, with counts displayed as ranges. It contains no names, emails, account identifiers or exact event dates. This reduces identification risk but cannot guarantee anonymity. Reports are not independently verified outcomes.

Correct, download or withdraw your contributions at My contributions. Withdrawal or account deletion removes the report from active storage and removes any affected published group until a later reviewed release. Copies already downloaded by visitors and operational backups may persist. Contribution consent does not subscribe you to marketing.

Application cycles, corrections and the pilot.

Your submitted-application log, optional requirements context and followed programs are private workspace data. A cycle contribution requires a separate preview and consent, includes only the displayed program/track, cycle, dates, outcome and list-completeness statement, and is linked privately to your account. Correct or withdraw it on the contribution page. Removing a private log does not withdraw an earlier contribution. These self-selected reports are not representative national statistics.

Correction requests and their disposition history are visible to their owner and RMR operators. Pilot signup records your stated role, specialty, cycle, referral source and consent to contact your verified account email about the pilot. Neither action subscribes you to marketing. You can export and withdraw requests on their respective pages. Account deletion removes these records from the active database; operational backups may persist.

Optional weekly program updates and outcome check-ins share RMR’s reminder preferences and unsubscribe controls. They use your followed programs or unfinished application records to determine whether a message is relevant. Private scores, notes and rank order are not included in those emails.

Services that help RMR work.

Vercel hosts the application. Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. When configured, SendGrid delivers account or reminder emails. beehiiv stores newsletter subscriptions and delivers newsletter emails when you opt in. Logo.dev supplies institution images and may receive your IP address and the requested logo domain. Your browser may contact external font or linked website providers. These services process technical request information under their own policies.

Financial-aid tools and Juno.

Financial-aid calculator entries stay in page memory and are not saved to your workspace or sent to Juno. They clear on reload. Our Juno referral link identifies salaryDr as the referral partner; it contains no calculator values or account details. RMR may earn a commission if you take out a loan through that link. If you continue to Juno, its privacy policy and terms apply to information you give it. Read about the referral relationship.

Your controls.

In Settings, export your workspace, restore a backup, clear its contents, sign out, or delete your account. Account deletion removes the account’s workspace and reminder subscription from the active database. Operational logs and provider backups may persist according to their retention policies. A downloaded backup remains wherever you stored it.

Deleting an RMR account also removes its newsletter consent record from RMR’s active database. It does not delete your RMR newsletter subscription. To stop newsletter emails, use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. Clearing a workspace does not change email preferences.

Public pages and analytics.

RMR does not publish user notes, applicant profiles, reviews, or ratings. RMR has no advertising pixels or session replay. Hosting and authentication providers may record operational logs to run and protect the service. Links to salaryDr take you to a separate product.

When enabled, public planning tools send limited usage events to RMR: a tool category, an action such as copying a link, a broad source such as an advisor or search engine, and whether the site is a preview. These records contain no account ID, email, program choice, calculator amount, notes, full URL, or browser fingerprint. A broad source label can stay in this tab for 30 minutes. The tracker respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Usage counts are approximate and are not used to create applicant profiles. Hosting logs may separately contain technical request details.
