Weekly half-day didactic sessions for residents on outpatient rotation. Used by residents & faculty at Yale as well as training & practice sites around the world.

We have a diversity of training sites allowing for ample exposure to the spectrum of pediatrics, from community outpatient care to high-acuity specialized settings. Our graduates are well-primed for both primary care and fellowship training. We are innovative in our approach to education, allowing residents opportunities to grow as physician leaders beyond the clinical sphere as well. Our enthusiastic faculty serve as wonderful mentors for residents interested in quality improvement, research, medical education, advocacy and global health. In addition, we offer opportunities for individualized learning and experience.

Fellowship
Yale Pediatrics offers multiple fellowship opportunities in subspecialties including Cardiology, Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, General Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Nephrology, and Respiratory Medicine. Graduates often pursue fellowships at various affiliated institutions.
