Curriculum & Education
Overview

Application

The program application deadline is typically in the middle of December.

On Call Schedule
The team handles consultations from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Night float check in is at 5:30 p.m. and check out is at 5:30 a.m. with days off on Saturdays.

Salary & Benefits
Benefits Overview
Resident salaries and benefits are established by the University of South Alabama. Residents are encouraged to attend and present papers at National Meetings. Up to five days per year may be taken for academic leave for the purpose of attending scientific meetings and/or interviewing for fellowship training. Residents are allowed one half day once monthly on average to attend personal appointments and for other wellness related activities. Access to the JagFit gym at no charge and access to the University of South Alabama Student Recreation Center for $10/month.

Vacation
