Resident Life
Overview
The University of Nevada, Reno Family Medicine Residency program offers residents the opportunity to excel at the full scope of family medicine, or tailor training to more specific goals to best suit our residents. As a medical school-administered community-based program, we offer "the best of both worlds." Our parent medical school is primary-care friendly and our residents do not compete for good cases or procedures. We have medical students on our family medicine service all year, which helps transform our resident learners into teachers.
