Curriculum & Education

Overview

The program provides a comprehensive 3-year curriculum to enable residents to master the knowledge, skills, and abilities for successful practice or fellowship. Residents are exposed to various specialties and have opportunities for outpatient procedures and comprehensive clinical experiences.

Application

Applications are accepted only through the ERAS system. The deadline for applications is October 15. 65-75 applicants will be selected for interviews, which are offered on a rolling basis. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, permanent residents or have a valid work authorization. The application process also requires a passing USMLE/COMLEX score, with no extensions due to academic remediation.

Residents work at multiple locations including a community health clinic and several surrounding hospitals for a broad range of specialties.

Fellowship

The program offers various fellowship opportunities, including Infectious Disease, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Critical Care among others, as it aims to prepare residents for both hospitalist roles and specialized fellowships.
