Summary of Residency Program
The Swedish Family Medicine Residency is an ACGME approved three-year training program committed to excellence in teaching and practicing family medicine in both hospital and office settings. The program offers longitudinal training through integrated services, providing a realistic approximation of real-life family medicine. Residents are involved in patient care from the first year, spending 40% of their time at the Swedish Family Medical Center while demonstrating awareness of ethical practices. There’s an emphasis on individualized learning by faculty and supporting one another for high-quality care.

Fellowship
The residency program has a major medical education program that trains residents in various specialties, including diagnostic radiology, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and surgery. There is also a Vascular Neurology Fellowship from Swedish Medical Center.
