Our program uses a holistic application review process and each of the items listed below are reviewed by our selection committee. We are looking for future physician leaders from diverse backgrounds that align with our program mission and aims.
Application
The MetroHealth Surgery Program will be participating in the 2024 NRMP Match to fill 3 categorical PGY1 positions and 3 preliminary PGY1 positions. All interested applicants can submit applications through the ERAS system. We will not accept or review application materials sent directly to the program. Application review begins for categorical applicants on September 25, 2024, with a deadline of October 11, 2024. Interview invitations will be sent by November 1, 2024. For preliminary applicants, application review starts on December 2, 2024, with a deadline of December 20, 2024. Interview invitations will be sent on a rolling basis during January. Interviews will take place in December and January.
