Curriculum & Education

Residents in the 5+2 track receive 5 years of complex surgical training culminating in the Chief year. Additionally, residents take two years of Professional Development to develop expertise in a specialized area of surgery.
Application
Application Deadline: October 1. Requirements include completing the Common Application Form (CAF) on ERAS, including MSPE, medical school transcript with current surgery grades, at least 3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, USMLE Step 1 results, and color photo. Letters of recommendation should be in ERAS by the interview date.

Fellowship
