Curriculum & Education
Overview
Residents benefit from a curriculum that includes unique programs for mentorship, research, scholarship, and quality improvement training. They gain hands-on experience and work closely with diverse patient populations across multiple clinical training sites, including Stanford University Hospital, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.
Application
Application materials include a personal statement, CV, photograph, medical school transcript, medical school performance evaluation (MSPE), USMLE step 1 score, and 3-4 letters of recommendation. A passing USMLE step 2 CS & CK score will be required prior to finishing medical school. Interviews are by invitation only and are offered on a rolling basis from November to January.

Fellowship
