Fellowship
The residency program offers various opportunities for fellowship training and post-residency career paths. Residents can train longitudinally with a variety of primary care and subspecialists, allowing them to pursue additional family medicine training or enter subspecialty fellowships after graduation, including full-spectrum family medicine training that includes obstetrics.
Resident Life
Overview
We are an ACGME-accredited,1-2 rural family medicine residency program located in Grays Harbor County and affiliated with an established core program at Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program in nearby Olympia, Washington. Residents receive hands-on, full-scope family medicine training with their continuity clinics (all 3 years) and “home base” in the Wellness Center. The integrated clinical care team includes core family physician faculty (including FP-OB). The team is rounded out with naturopathic physicians, advanced nursing providers (ARNP and DNP), physician assistants, registered dieticians, integrated Pharm D, psychiatry, PT/OT speech therapies, and integrated low barrier MAT walk-in clinic. Our emergency department, acute inpatient unit, and urgent care clinic are located on the same campus and provide care for patients needing after-hours treatment, stabilization, transfer, or inpatient care.
