Application
The deadline for General Surgery Residency applications is October 15 each year. Interviews for postgraduate year 1 (PGY-1) positions take place each November through January for positions beginning in July. The application requires certification of graduation from an accredited medical school, at least two letters of recommendation from surgeons, USMLE or COMLEX board scores, and documentation for any gaps in employment or education.
