Curriculum & Education
Overview
The first-year clinical anesthesiology residents (CA-1) start with a month of general cases under the direct supervision of a mentor, followed by rotations through anesthesiology subspecialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, pediatric, and obstetric anesthesia. The second-year (CA-2) residents focus on developing career plans, finishing subspecialty rotations, and general anesthesia. In the third year (CA-3), residents handle the most complex patients and complete elective rotations. Electives can cater to personal interests such as advanced airway or pain medicine.
