Curriculum & Education

Application
Applicants are required to submit a personal statement, current CV, three letters of recommendation (and SLOE highly recommended), USMLE Step 1 CK or COMLEX Level 1 Score, USMLE Step 2 CS or COMLEX Level 2 PE Score, USMLE Step 2 CK or COMLEX Level 2 CE Score, and MSPE (Dean’s) letter. Interviews are held in October, November, and December.

The majority of residency rotations occur at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, with some rotations at Northern Dutchess Hospital and Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
Fellowship
The residency program offers a variety of fellowship opportunities after completion, including specialties like Advanced Clinical Ultrasound, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonary Medicine.
