Curriculum & Education

Overview

The curriculum is designed around professional value and flexibility, allowing residents to personalize their training according to their interests. This includes full-scope family medicine training, longitudinal obstetrics, dedicated procedure time, and diverse clinical experiences.

Application

Interviews will be scheduled on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from late October through mid-December. A casual dinner is hosted the night before interviews, and accommodations are provided in a historic B&B. Candidates can also arrange for second look visits. Application requirements include a complete ERAS application with CV, medical school transcript, three letters of recommendation, USMLE or COMLEX scores, MSPE, and personal statement.

Residents work at multiple clinic and hospital locations including Blue Ridge Health and Pardee Hospital.

On Call Schedule
