Currently, there are 30 residents in total in the Urology Residency Program, including a blend of senior (PGY-2 to PGY-5) and first-year (PGY-1) residents. This supportive community fosters collaboration and learning among peers and faculty.

Curriculum & Education

Overview

Each Tuesday, 7:00 AM, Grand Rounds feature two cases presented by one resident to another in an Oral Boards format. Didactics occur each Tuesday at 8:00 AM, reviewing assigned readings, guidelines, and literature from Campbell’s Urology and AUA updates.

Application

Residency Interviews will be held in-person on Thursday, December 5, 2024, for the AUA Urology Match. Invitations to interview will be sent on Friday, October 25, 2024, following the SAU guidelines.

After completing their residency, graduates from the Urology program have opportunities to pursue specialized fellowships in areas like Allergy & Immunology, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, and several others within the department of medicine.
