Curriculum & Education

Overview

Our didactic training focuses on the curriculum upon dermatopathology, skin microbiology, and immunodermatology. The program encourages residents to participate in assigned professional meetings and events, such as the Dermatopathology scholarship program, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology annual & midyear meetings, the American Academy of Dermatology meetings, Scripps surgical course, Galderma slide review, the Florida Society of Dermatology & Dermatological Surgery meeting, Aesthetics conferences and any other dermatology conference. Education/Didactics includes Weekly Clinical-Pathological Correlation sessions with Dermatopathologists, Weekly Kodachrome sessions, Monthly Journal Clubs, and Monthly Grand Rounds.

Application

The application process requires graduation from an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Accredited college of Osteopathic Medicine and membership in the AOA. The program follows an application process; however, specific deadlines and detailed steps are not provided in the text.

Fellowship
