Curriculum & Education

Overview

The PGY1 year includes seven modules of psychiatry and six modules of off-service rotations. The psychiatry modules and off-service modules are scheduled concurrently throughout the year.

Application

Applications due by November 1. Interviews held October-January. Mandatory orientation begins in June, two weeks prior to July 1 start date.

Residents work at five main locations including Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Lutheran Hospital, Fairview Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital, and Marymount Hospital.

Fellowship

Fellowship opportunities at the Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute include various subspecialties. Recent graduates have gone on to fellowships in child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and consultation-psychiatry.
