Overview
The residency program consists of a four-year categorical program with a guaranteed preliminary PGY-1 in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. The first year of training in internal medicine is guaranteed at our institution. Residents rotate through various specialties during their training, including inpatient and outpatient internal medicine, cardiology, ICU, ER, psychiatry, and palliative care, and have elective time available.
Application
Application begins when ERAS opens and requires certain documents like a CV, personal statement, medical school transcript, USMLE transcripts, and at least three letters of recommendation. Interviews are by invitation, held mid-October through early January, starting at 7:45 a.m., and include a welcome presentation and interviews with faculty.
