Curriculum & Education
Overview
You will begin your training with an orientation month, filled with team-building opportunities and ways to get to know your faculty and classmates. Throughout your training, you will spend a significant amount of time in the ED with the majority of off-service rotations completed within your PGY1 year. Critical care months are built into your schedule during your PGY1 and PGY2 year with a total of 7 months of dedicated critical care time. You will have the opportunity to care for patients in our large community site, spend dedicated time in our pediatric emergency center, and spend a month on our unique Research and Resuscitation rotation.
