Curriculum & Education
Overview
Our curriculum will provide you with ample exposure to all aspects of care in the operating room, labor and delivery, and ambulatory settings in both obstetrics and gynecology. Over the four years at UMHW, our residents experience rotations in gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine and ultrasound, reproductive endocrinology and infertility and many other rotations selected to provide the very best clinical preparation for their future careers. Elective rotations can be tailored to fit the interests of individual residents and their desired experiences.
Application
Applications should be submitted via ResidencyCAS. Minimum requirements include three letters of recommendation, one from an Ob/Gyn physician, and a COMLEX Level 2 score above 500 or a USMLE Step 2 score above 220. We recommend completing applications by November 1 for consideration. Interviews will be held virtually in December and possibly January. Visa sponsorship is not provided for medical residents unless no qualified U.S. candidates are available.
