Resident Life

Overview

The MetroHealth Dermatology Residency Program is unique in several ways. The training program is comprised almost exclusively of resident-driven continuity clinics, in which residents follow their patients during the time of their training. This longitudinal patient-physician experience enables the resident to see the evolution of disease processes while gaining an understanding of how to manage real world chronic conditions. This continuity model holds true for the resident's surgical and dermatopathology experience. The program flourishes due to our physicians, who are drawn and committed to a unique program that benefits from serving a diverse patient population from an underserved community.
