Curriculum & Education

Overview

Residents at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada have access to a state-of-the-art-facility and advanced technology including: 12 Operating Rooms (including 2 open heart surgical suites)(14 as of Feb. 2021), 3 Endoscopy Suites, 1 Cysto Room, Endoscopic Ultrasound Technology, 5 Robotic Surgery Systems for training in minimally invasive surgical procedures. Residents rotate at Sunrise Hospital for trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care, and have rotations that include General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Surgical Oncology.

Application

Applications will be accepted only through ERAS; required documents include ERAS Application, Personal Statement, CV, transcripts, Dean's letter, three letters of recommendation, USMLE/COMLEX scores, and photograph. Qualified applicants will receive interview invitations.
