Curriculum & Education
Overview
With the assistance of the Maternal Fetal Medicine resident, you are expected to identify patients to follow while on the rotation. You are expected to arrive at the hospital at 5:00 am to round on the antepartum patients with the Maternal Fetal Medicine resident, participate in Morning Report on Labor and Delivery at 7:30 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and at 7:00 am on Thursday mornings. You are also expected to participate in evening check out rounds at 5:00 pm. Clinic has yet to be determined. With the assistance of the Senior Onc Resident, you will be expected to participate in pre-op, the surgical procedure, and to follow patients postop. You will help to manage floor issues while the team is in surgery and will also have some clinic time. Rounds will be determined by the team. You will also assist in Tumor Board every other Wednesday am.

A minimum of 8 weeks is recommended for the selection process due to high competition. Applicants are responsible for securing transportation, housing, and meals during their elective rotations. Final housing and travel arrangements should be made after enrollment confirmation.
