Curriculum & Education
Overview
Basic dermatologic training is obtained in the ambulatory care units, where the residents see more than 50,000 patients per year. Staff attendings supervise residents in their clinical activities. Specialty clinics are organized to deal with specific dermatologic problems: Tumors, Pigmented lesions, Pediatric dermatoses, Immunologic diseases, Photobiology, Surgery, Laser medicine. Additionally, residents and staff attendings provide care to in-patients with dermatological disorders who are hospitalized at each institution.
Application
Applications are electronic through the ERAS system. Required materials include: at least three letters of recommendation, a Dean's letter, transcript, USMLE Board Scores, CV, and Personal Statement.
