The residency program does accept International Medical Graduates (IMGs), as graduates from US Allopathic and Osteopathic Medical Schools will be strongly considered. Candidates within two years of graduation from ILME approved medical schools, or those with up to five years of advanced clinical experience, are welcomed. Candidates must have passed USMLE Step I and Step II and/or equivalent COMLEX exams. All applicants must apply through ERAS for consideration.

Curriculum & Education

Beginning intern year, residents engage in clinical practice, taking calls, seeing patients in the clinic, and logging operating room cases. The program includes traditional didactics such as weekly grand rounds, monthly journal clubs, and cadaver labs for surgical technique practice.
