Summary of Residency Program
The Urology Residency program at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and Cooper University Hospital is a five-year ACGME accredited program designed to produce highly skilled clinical and academic surgeons specializing in modern urologic surgery. Residents receive extensive training and have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of surgical procedures, alongside a rigorous academic curriculum and clinical research projects. Curriculum & Education
Overview
The operative experience of the program is complemented by a rigorous academic conference schedule designed to promote resident advancement in both surgical knowledge and presentation skills. The interdisciplinary nature of several of the conferences enhances the educational experience of the residents and promotes an appreciation for various views and approaches to surgical problems and issues. Additionally, our residents are required to complete yearly clinical research projects and an outcomes project.

Apply through ERAS. Applications accepted: December 1 to February 1. Interview dates: scheduled between January and March.
