Curriculum & Education
Overview
Our comprehensive training offers many opportunities not typically available in rural programs. Your practice will span prenatal to pediatric and geriatric care, and emergency, surgery, ICU and subspecialty medicine, including fellowship preparation. Urban, academic and rural experiences will connect you with many local underserved patients. Faculty will work one-on-one with each resident to ensure mastery of Osteopathic Manipulative medicine and clinic-based procedures, such as joint injections. As you progress through residency you will gain both increasing responsibility and valuable experience rotating in a variety of services such as obstetrics and gynecology, sports, hospital and addiction medicine to prepare you for independent practice.
