Curriculum & Education
Overview
The first year non-ob/gyn rotations will be completed in the first six months. This allows for the resident to focus on required rotations and provides better continuity in initial training on the obstetrical service. Rotations include: 6 months of Obstetrics/Gynecology, 3 months of Internal Medicine, and additional rotations in Pediatrics/Anesthesiology, General Surgery, and Family Medicine. The later years include more focused rotations in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Ambulatory experiences. Residents participate in simulation training during their training as well.
Application
All candidates must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Required documents include a completed application through ERAS, CV, official medical school transcript, official COMLEX or USMLE scores, three letters of recommendation, and a letter from the dean of the medical school. Interviews are scheduled from October to December for positions starting in July.
