Overview
WVU's Charleston campus is a regional campus of the West Virginia University School of Medicine where nearly one-third of WVU's third- and fourth-year medical students complete their training through an affiliation with Charleston Area Medical Center. Every day, hundreds of health professional students or residents actively learn and give care within the health system. Each year, more than 70 medical students and just under 200 residents choose to participate in this joint program in specialties such as behavioral medicine and psychiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery. The WVU Schools of nursing and pharmacy also host programs at the WVU Charleston Campus.

Benefits Overview
The University has no designated parking area; however, the Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division provides parking which is available to anyone. The cost for parking is $1.00 per half hour, with a maximum $4.00 charge for all day parking. Business hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, and Building hours from Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm.
